BBC Bitesize has lots of resources for home schooling from daily lessons to a toolkit especially for parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Education City is used across the school for English, maths, science and computing resources. Log in using your child’s unique password. Oak National Academy: A new collection of high-quality lessons and online resources. Backed by the Government, it has been created in response to the coronavirus lockdown. The online classroom offers free access to great teachers, delivering video lessons, quizzes and worksheets. Available for both primary and secondary levels, it covers a range of subjects. All of the lessons are ordered so your child can learn along a clear plan. Providing new lessons and resources each week. They are currently working on providing support for pupils with additional needs or based in specialist settings. If you wish to use this it would be best to contact your child’s teacher for suggestions on what to use.

Be Internet Legends: Free resources to make it easy to teach online safety at home. The Be Internet Legends programme is designed to teach your child the skills they need to stay safe and have a positive time online. Your involvement at home can really help reinforce these key messages to help your child become more confident when exploring the online world.

Think U Know: This page has been created to support parents during COVID-19 and the closure of schools. Each fortnight, we will be releasing new home activity packs with simple 15-minute activities you can do with your child to support their online safety at a time when they will spending more time online at home.

The Autism Education Trust:  Mainly resources for teachers but has a useful Social Story about Coronavirus suitable for our older pupils.
