Tracy Coster is our designated safeguarding lead and is passionate about ensuring all our learners have the care and support they need.
Lisa Langley is a family inclusion worker and deputy designated safeguarding lead. She is experienced and skilled in supporting learners and families to access necessary support.
Dan Woodman is the Headteacher and deputy designated safeguarding lead. He is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all our learners and families.
At The St Christopher School, we take safeguarding extremely seriously. Our learners’ safety and wellbeing is the most important thing to us, and we are committed to creating a secure environment where every child can thrive.
All our staff receive regular safeguarding training and we foster a culture where concerns are reported and raised immediately. We follow the latest guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) and have robust safer recruitment processes in place to ensure all team members are suitable to work with children and young people.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Tracy Coster, supported by Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads Lisa Langley and Dan Woodman. They are available to address any safeguarding matters and work closely with external agencies when needed.

Our family inclusion team aims to ensure that our learners get the very best pastoral support. We understand that families may need resources, guidance and signposting to a variety to service to support their children in the very best way.
The family inclusion team delivers in school safeguarding training and is in frequent communication with parents and other professionals to try get the right support at the right time for our learners.
We are looking to further develop our parent information and training offer, as well as providing learners with access to specialist input, e.g. fine/gross motor skill sessions, food sensitivity sessions and counselling.
